Can you remember where you found the tripod from the first post, i have been asked to do something similar but haven't found anything ideal yet.

bought it on ebay. i don't like the wood on it realy i keep meaning to take it apart and make new legs. i made the top to fit the lamp to

went for a mooch at the school and some bum has chucked the stage lamps out or knobbled them

probably had them away. they might be on fleebay. decent ones fetch about £150

these thing got hot enough to fry an egg on. no wonder theatres burned down

I once had a job doing follow spot for a band playing in a circus tent ...I was on a platform at the top of the poles ....the follow spot had been clamped to the rail and half way through the gig the clamp unclamped ...I nearly lost the very hot follow spot over the side into the crowd bellow no safety chain ...I just had to hang on to it ....nerve wracking for a bit ....
