Makes me glad I don't have one of them.RS-whatever are 'sensitive souls' to all kind of things, along with Merc. A35/45's they are incredibly intolerant to 'standard' petrol - there's a suitable warning in the owners manual about it (along with an advisory of don't drink the starter battery contents...) The real prima-donna's are the R8's (and their finance payers) which need the plugs changing within a specific temperature range otherwise they will happily misfire until something melts.
Makes me glad I don't have one of them.
I'm going back to old cortina days.No crush washer on the plugs and had to airgun some out.Ford 1.25 engines only ones I have had a problem with - I got box of thread inserts somewhere.
It was a common issue on the old CVH? engine, that still had a cast iron head, as they'd seize in due to corrosion.Likely only siezed because they've been over-torqued in the first place...
