Time to upgrade the compressor

While on the subject... can anyone identify this, in case I need spares, assuming they still exist, whoever they are!
I *think* the motor's about 2 or 3 HP, twin cylinder (but single-stage) compressor.






Was cheap, had to correct the wiring and fit a new capacitor then add the pipework... Works pretty well, a pair of bigger reg's and hoses would probably help. only 1/4" on it at the mo' but fine for tyres, sprayguns, die grinder and air ratchet, struggles a bit with an impact wrench!

Actually, that was a bit flippant!

My compressor is in my shed but is insulated from the outside world by the shed wall which consists of a layer of featheredge, 100mm of rockwool and a sheet of 12mm ply. I have the twin 3hp set up and there is barely a hum outside when it's running. Inside is a different matter cos I still haven't made the doors for the 'Plant Room' (a term I use very loosely!).



Ok, so it's a cupboard!

It's also rubber mounted which I'm sure helps.
