Avoid the evolution one, no spare parts available if you break it.
Evolution sell the fingers, bearings, brushes etc off eBay.

Yes but that's all. I have one that has broken the arm that the finger attaches to. Part not available so tool is scrap.Evolution sell the fingers, bearings, brushes etc off eBay.
Spennymoor useless fact B&D once had the largest production line in the world.B&D are / were made in the same factory as Dewalt (Newton Aycliffe
Ah! Fair enough. It was theorised earlier in the thread that they were the same as Titan, any chance that could be a source of spares?Yes but that's all. I have one that has broken the arm that the finger attaches to. Part not available so tool is scrap.
Part is poorly designed with a hole through the casting without any extra bracing that leaves a weak point.
On the other hand you can buy every part for the b&d powerfile, not
that they are needed as they are a sturdy thing. I still have one of the original green powerfiles in use and all it has needed is a new finger now and then.
Bought a s/h titan power washer years ago, needed something quick as the latest karcher had broken down again. Still going so build quality must be better.
I bought one as a clone of cordless Makita and recently ordered another as they're good value for the money.
Nice and compact but does feel cheap and not that powerful ive found, ok for the money thoughSilverline. Inline motor so you haven't got the bulk on one side use good quality belts
let the belt do the work.Nice and compact but does feel cheap and not that powerful ive found, ok for the money though
There is also an identical except for the colour one sold by Sealey, The inline motor means it is better balanced & nicer to use, it also goes slower on minimum speed which is useful. I bought one for a particular big job sanding the inside of a boat with lots of fiddly bits & it lasted the job out before it let its magic smoke out.Silverline.
