Quite pleased with today's little haul

Vertex 6" rotary table with dividing plates and handle, no sector arms or other fiddly bits. Brand new but shop-soiled - £50

It just so happens that I have the correct tail stock for this, also new and shop-soiled, that I got in a box of assorted bits and pieces from @spencer 427

Next up a load of parallels, a couple of sine bars, some dowel pins, a 10x jeweller's loupe, a Chesterman 6" ruler, and a couple of unusual collet sets with holders. They seem to have a universal drive ball end. The collets are marked in sizes which are all calibre sizes to my way of thinking: 0.177/0.205/0.238

The rust is surface and not as bad as it appears in the photo apart from the one at the top. But it'll clean up.

Any interest in selling one of the sine bars?

The ball end would fit into a tail piece fitting that has a crossbar to prevent it rotating but allow it to wobble, similar to a "wiggler" type centre finder used on a mill or drill press.
Depending on how the fitting was constructed, it might be attached to the lathe tailstock either in a chuck or by a morse taper.

It really is very well made. And will do more work than you would think.
I had a slight bargain with this but one of them hit £800 But it did have loads of accessories.

the third was cheap, found both the engineering math and further in third edition on evilbay and thought to myself they will probably be better related to each other as id assume revisions would tally to an extent.
