My neighbour gave me this bevel he'd picked up from a car boot sale. Handmade by the looks of it with body and blade around 6".
Looks like an apprentice piece.
As an apprentice you thought that sort of cutting and filing stuff was boring and pointless, just made up by the 'old blokes' because they were miserable gits. A few years/decades down the line you realise it was pretty much the best way possible to develop basic hand skills and get your eye in on standards.
