Yep, its a big hole punch. 1.2 tonne capacity, not sure what that relates to in terms of material thickness but it managed a seventy page instruction booklet quite nicely.Just looked it up.

My favourite pump pliers on special offer at one of the local merchants so I grabbed a few pairs. Not internet prices but a bit of trade for a local supplier, gave them the grip of Bob test and they held up as good as the rottenbugger ones I have

Missing some dies, two of those pins are snapped and the latch on the case has snapped, the tool appears to function just fine. I'll give it a proper clean and test tomorrow.
Not sure what I'll do with it, I've never felt I needed one and not likely to but I was hardly gonna leave in the bin!
I like the badge. Ferndale is just over the hill from me, 3 miles away as the crow fly's. The vintage lamps have an internal mesh which in effect made them explosion proof with regards to preventing a flame igniting gas in the mines. Collecting original lamps is a hobby in itself.A small lamp which I intend to give as a gift to my friend. I had to polish it up which took over an hour, there’s quite a lot there.
