They came with both types of fitting. The drum one being common in Europe and the Americas. The tank fitiing flange screws onto the thread used to fit it to a drum.
The tank type shown is not a common one in Europe, but the do pop up. When they do and they are compelte. You will pay daft money for them.

would it not be worth keeping as is ? a good project to strip and rebuild ,some new retro m/guards and tyre's
could be nice
I have no immediate use for them, but will eventually.
