I put a couple of sets of the ceramic figurines on Ebay, the band / musicians were ok and the sale was completed. The football players were deemed to be a depiction of slavery, the listing was pulled by ebay and my account threatened with suspension if they were to be re listed. Which is odd as there are loads of other Robertson promotional items both old and modern, I can only assume it was flagged by a snowflake and triggered ebay's auto ban hammer.

You should have told them , you come from ,Nigeria , originally and asked, have you pulled my listing because , I am coloured? That would have wound someone right up .

Also treated myself to one of these...I was really surprised that they can measure DC current too.

AC is easy but DC requires a bit more effort...well it said it could...I'll have to try it out.

Last night I acquired another Beta roll cab, good secondhand price off ebay now a dedicated tooling and metrology cabinet. The grinder on top is only ever used for sharpening tungstens, I needed somewhere convenient for it...

Saved a couple of 10 drawer Bisley cabinets from the skip today. A school in Redhill relocating to new buildings built on the same site, the amount of stuff getting chucked would have a seasoned skip diver in tears - chairs, desks, filing cabinets - all looking in reasonable condition.

I've still got the metric equivalent set that I got from Machine Mart circa 2007, had to replace about three only due to losing them but they have taken some abuse and not showing signs of wear

I have both and personally the m12 3/8 impact is better and faster

Better how? What are they both like for breakaway torque? Obviously it’s only 3/8 so I’ll only be going up to 19mm at most so it doesn’t need loads of torque but enough to shift something stubborn would be handy.

I get a lot of pain in my hands and arms so anything to reduce the repetitive ratchet motion would be great but don’t want to buy something that ends up being crap and I just end up doing it by hand anyway!

I have the stubby impact gun and its amazing I havent found anything it can't do and its fast light in the hand and still gets into compact spaces. that's the problem with the ratchet its quite slow and doesn't have massive amounts of power, if you do want a ratchet ive heard that they are brining out a rapid version of the m12 ratchet so that maybe better.

I'm not saying don't get the ratchet its ok but get the stubby impact first its mint

Cheers. I have the M18 1/2” impact and it’s really good so I’m not surprised. I’ve just seen the right angled impact so that may be a better halfway house for me.

I got.the3/8 m12 and.1/2 m18 the 3/8 don't.come close. Torque wise but it has its place

They now do a mini 1/2” in m12. Same physical size and spec as the 3/8” one so you can use the same sockets.

Today I got the oversized ER40 collets, RDG don't believe in fast delivery
Also got the 45 degree neck for the EWM push pull torch. That came from Germany to RH Davey and them to me in half the time the collets took
