You can't have too many. Saves a lot of time ******* about. I had to tap an m6 hole out to m6 and make a step down stud from m8 to m6 the other day to fix a part. m6 helicoil would of been much quicker.

I have thread insert envy
Seeing the helicoil box, I remember now why the their specific insert tools are better than anyone elses... those shaped tools guide the insert into the thread so much smoother and more accurately than the ones with just a slot in the bottom. Almost impossible to break off the tang prematurely, too.

My 20' twin axle caravan is much easier to reverse than my 5' single axle trailer.

Now do it by hand . . up/down a slope, on tarmac covered in tiny loose bits, and then come back and tell us again . . .

Much more compact,read ,tiny filters,easy with goggles,even my welding helmet fits over it.

Thanks for posting about this - 9 quid delivered from Amazon, so I bought a few.

Used on Sunday - first time I've re-appeared from the garage after a good day of angle-grinder using, flap wheel and stripping wheels, plasma cutting, and welding, then carried out the wet-hanky on a finger reaming of the nostrils trick to clean out the crap and kept a clean hanky!

Nothing appears to have got through. Comfy enough to fit and wear for several hours with no issues, obviously sealed well as my specs never once misted up, fitted nicely under my Speedglas mask and didn't feel too restrictive.

Fits nicer, better and longer than the 3M masks I have been using. Not yet got the hang of fastening the hooks the right way to lay flat, but don't notice in use.

This is the reason I shouldn't carry cash. The bottle opener was free, the others cost a grand total of £5. Should clean up nicely in the vibrating bowls at work. Maybe polish them or dip them in the antique solutions, haven't decided yet

Your bottle opener could be close to 100 yrs old! Numbers on it show it could could go back to 1924 - they tweaked the design and changed the numbers later on.

Crown Cork and Seal still a big company (Crown Holdings) - still making "Crown corks" - the logo might just look similiar to a discarded cap

Well over a year since I built my current pc.

Storage is getting tight so finally decided to grab an nvme drive for it.

Cloned the drive and swapped over in an hour.

Now to find a new GPU for my eldest. He's getting into pc gaming more these days

a cordless router , even with a 36V battery on top it's still half the weight of my 240V makita time will tell whether its any good but certainly looks and feels impressive .

I went with the 18v DeWalt router. Small and light enough to use freehand on doors with enough poke to be abused on bigger jobs

If Im working on worktops etc I'm always going to have power and my old Hitachi m12v2 is still a beast by today's standards.
