A fair bit of chainsaw and splitter action coming up, should keep me fit. They're going to be cut about 15 to 18" long so shouldn't take too long.....

I've got 18 months left on my renewable heat incentive for my biomass boiler, so have to use BSL accredited wood. So I'm keeping on pellets for 18 months, but they did come from Siberia. These logs are an insurance policy in case the supply of pellets dries up or are uneconomic. In that case I'll not claim the RHI for the time I'm burning them.

Once out of RHI I'll be buying about 12 tonnes of logs from the same place, a small managed woodland about 6 miles from our house.

Bought a couple more watches, This G Shock Pininfarina from the bootsale today, Unfortunately the backlight doesn't work!, Those wires that run through the straps are supposdley throttle cables from F1 cars!

I found this Hamilton Khaki Pioneer Pilot auto at TK Maxx heavily discounted, Around five hundred quid cheaper than when it was a current model!, It has an 80 hour power reserve, Almost double of any of mu current watches!

Even though my watches are from Argos and cost no more than £50 (break so many at work) i can totally understand the watch fetish 100% and there are so many stunning watches out there. When i make some "real" money i am buying myself a Rolex Submariner in green my favorite watch of all time.<<<pun not intended

From J & R gases Ltd of Nelson, Lancs.

They deliver too, the princely sum of £1.20!

They are about 10 miles from me and deliver my way every other Tuesday.

That's a lot of gas to lose when I forget to turn off the valve at the end of the day.

L-R, quick change toolpost with 5 tool holders, knurling tool with spare knurls, set of carbide tipped tools and a set of hss tools. Ironically, the box they all came in is nearly as big as the lathe .

I'm curious about the cage on your Tom Senior mill ? Doesn't look like it would protect very well from flying swarf ?
