It wasn't for praise , there had been issues on the job and not his fault and things with the client were sort of coming to loggerheads . I just think a fresh person and a new perspective helped them see what should have been done and what wasn' t . His clients are cool now and settled his bill in full so I think the hammer was a simple thanks .

Many thanks to @Seadog , @Dcal & @Cheesie who between them managed to get these goodies over to Cheesies for me to collect.

A 3/4 HP Clarke motor, pulley & NVR switch.

A pair of pallet truck rollers & a broken Draper plasma cutter with a good 4.5m torch. The torch is to replace the stupidly short 2m torch on my Lidl plasma.

Tried the torch & its a direct swap for the original!

At long last I managed to source the correct gearbox from my van.

It was an old school breakers yard where you are pointed in the direction of the vehicle & help yourself. Got a few bits of trim & 2 rims, one with a decent tyre.

When it came to pay I inquired about card payment, he said if you use card we have to charge vat so cash it was, saved me £66!

90 day warranty on the box so plenty of time to get it fitted & ensure its working ok.

Ive had mine around 35yrs. Different style to @roblane65 hammer, they seem to be popular in the states. With its straight back they are hard to pull nails out with them

The Suds left for 12++ months had turned to lard, couple of cable glands replaced, change halogen bulb for led.
The sudds feed from the pump is a mess, comes out of pump on a union to a pipe in a armoured cover to a solid pipe with tap then to the delivery nozzle, so 3 flex pipe joints.
They have a brass top hat, nylon tapered washer, and a rubber compression washer all are shot, including pipe.
Any one sorted this sort of mess?.
Presume silicon tube but the nylon, brass, rubber bits

I've got several, they are indestructible. I now use a 12 ounce Estwing, as my 28 ounce thumb killer was put into retirement in 1997. At least I received a Purple Thumb Award for my pain, lol.
