All good pointsI'm impressed. Well done sir.
Seriously though, what's the point in all the time & effort spent earning it if you don't gain enjoyment from it. Toys, boys toys, tools, tooling etc., there's something to show for it at least. It's not like you're peeing it away up a wall.
Crack on & enjoy it.
What sort of robot?I just totted up how much I have spent on robot parts in the last 6 weeks...... I need to curb things
A 6 DOF arm plus a Mecanum wheeled base for it. Also, a whole bunch of ESP32 and Arduino MCUs and sensors to go with itWhat sort of robot?
A pillar drill from a skip. Binned as it was missing it's chuck. That's because it's a morticer and not a pillar drill.
Yet to be tested.
i hate to break it to you, but i'm quite good at judging measurements by sight, and i think that mixer is a few mm too big to fit into the tinSome paint.
Off marketplace, but from just around the corner and free. Almost completely unused but needed hefty mixing. Twenty minutes in the workshop and...

Yes, but by 'eck it worked on the tub! I tried stirring the tub by hand with a stick. Next time an idiot annoys me I will ask them to do it. It's impossible, you could stir a 10 litre tub until Christmas and get nowhere, hence the half hour drive to the workshop any back and the ten minutes making the stirrer for the power drill. Well worth it!i hate to break it to you, but i'm quite good at judging measurements by sight, and i think that mixer is a few mm too big to fit into the tin

Years ago, my wife ran the office for a local taxi firm, this was their safe. Some of you may remember my BIL passed a few years ago, quite young and completely unexpected
My wife has been receiving counselling to try and cope with her loss and 1 thing the she was asked to do as part of her therapy was put her brother somewhere safe.
The owner of the taxi firm is downsizing and needed the safe gone which is why I now have it
New big angry grinder. I didn't want to buy new but after visiting so many used ones that were knackered, despite the sellers claims, I gave up and bought new. After starting the search sensibly, I needed a 9 inch grinder, I then started adding extras to the tick list of requirements including rotating rear handle and anti vibes and ended up with this.
