Planning Officer has been and I've had an email from his bossNot today, last week I recieved a letter from the Coucil Planning Dept, some lovely person has made a complaint that I'm using my lockup to run a business
Had it for 4yrs, have spent many many hours sorting out the garage and land so it's useable but at best only 20hrs doing non site improvement work
Site meeting with the Planning Officer tomorrow to discuss
Hope it goes well!
I've got an almost identical pair , worth their weight in gold for wood & metal cutting on my machine mart band saw , had to shorten the height by chopping bottom ends as they were about three inches too high .
Theses should fit.
Lidl chainsaw sharpener, quality appears better than expected. 2 left in Chessington/ Surbiton. I might swap the motor to run off 20v tool batteries, a fine resin diamond wheel instead of the brown mud wheel, and the depth stop should really be a fine threaded bolt not coarse. I havent tried using yet.
Also got an angle grinder stand and can of clear spray paint both on clearance.
and I dont really have the space for it..

I need to apply for retrospective planning for the retaining wall and change of ground level, that'll be £460 please!
If I decide not to apply for planning approval then it all has to come down
So today I acquired a bill for £460 plus some forms to fill out
Surprised it hasn't snapped already now you've looked at it...
It’s 10 times thicker than the parts I need to millSurprised it hasn't snapped already now you've looked at it...
Yeah I have no problem using files, and I dont really have the space for it...
I'd have thought this would be quicker and sharper, and if adjusted well shouldnt take off any more than a file.
Tbh I thought it will be great for sharpening other tools and will fit the diamond wheels I have.
The chain holder easily unbolts so I could make up something to hold other stuff.
