3 Bowens studio flashes! 
I had a cunning plan to use one as a backlight for scanning film. I made an insulting offer on the middle one, I thought there's no way it'll be accepted so I bid on and won the one on the right, then the first guy accepted my offer. Great, I don't need 2 but whatever they were cheap. Then the seller of the middle one messaged me "I'm moving house and need this gone so I've included some more Bowens kit for free". I figured it would be a softbox or an umbrella, not the whole extra flash on the left!

Today I've got a fresh haircut and later I went to collect from an eBay seller nearby home
A cosmos American style steel #4 tap wrench.

A cosmos 50mm steel die holder
An unknown 25mm brass body die holder
Brand new old stock, they need a little bit of care but at least heavy duty.
60 Euros in total .
I now need a #0,#1,#2 tap wrenches.

It is caustic, are you using it on aluminium?

Intending to use it on painted parts and plastics initially - do you mean that it would potentially mark aluminium surfaces such as engine casings?
I don't know, I have never tried cleaning aluminium with caustic as I know it reacts, not sure what damage it will do or how long it will take at those concentrations.

My initial impressions this evening using it neat from a spray bottle to clean con saw casings was positive. Light foaming action, not much of a smell from it and seemed strong enough at cutting through old grease with a brush working it in.
Impressed. 5L at £12 is a great deal.

I've bought this battery charger off eBay, it has starter capabilities up to 150A (given output current).
I'm in it's need right now to charge my Punto battery so I can check if everything's right with the wirings.
I've opted for this one because I've got it for such of good price.
Only 80 euros while a manual transformer based charger capable of just charging with a 20A maximum output and brand name it's around 200 euros .
65 euro for a cheap no brand one 6A output .
Downside I have to wait and ask someone to charge my battery and it would be the last time.

And now a thread about getting a solar panel out of a van ...
Step one move the big iron table out of the van...

A complete set of extensions for taps. Fits DIN standard square dimensions.
This week I bought two Vertex dividing heads covered in surface rust (which cleaned off easily). Originally I wanted only one, but the price was very reasonable. My plan is to sell the larger green dividing head as I find it too heavy for me to lug around (about 35 kg).
I had to strip both heads down fully to fix a number of small issues which have now been resolved. The chucks are presumably factory-fitted on a screw thread which was "interesting" to remove. One head is missing the handle / sector arms / plates but I have ordered some spares. They probably aren't as good as the larger dividing head, but will be much easier for me to set up on the milling machine.
