I have some similar glass ones. I quickly learned that solvent will wash away the lubrication, and without it, they will bind up solid, infact one I cant seem to re assemble even with oil.
The common HDPE ones with a rubber end, generally work for ok for solvents for short term use.

These slide smoothly and are unlubricated. Even dry, there's a pretty good airing seal.
I'm going to be using dcm, so wanted something that wouldn't fall apart.

DMC wont touch HDPE, the bottle it comes in, is likely made of it, tho quite likely the rubber seals would last only seconds.

Seems a bit extreme for perspex? Acetone or MEK would not be more suitable?

Shame they sent 8mm handles for 10mm threads FFS

Ordered a few days back, M16 and M20 dies, appear to be decent HSS. £8 and £10.

I already have a few m16 taps, but also got a M20 spiral point HSSE tap for a tenner, tho it was the last one.

It's in a glass bottle. HDPE degrades over time, I believe, that's why it was decanted.
I'll test beforehand, but dcm is the recommended solvent, or so I believe.

I like the cell meter , do you ever get hold of 12 & 24 volt heavy discharge testers for vehicle batteries ?
