Pardon my ignorance but what are cornering lights and DRL's?... jeff....
If I went out and bought anything at the moment, I wouldnt have to kill myself, wife would save me the bother. She's not a bad lass, just tapped in the heed
All she said when I told her I was buying the Speed Triple was; don't kill yourself.
Or not. ;-)You should have followed her home and had a root through the bins!

Went to the tip and was talking to the skip man woman came up with a power wash and said did the lads want a power wash, the lad said no, he had one, (from the skips) cant do that now!
So I said to her why, she said oh we bought this to wash the patio that done we getting rid!! I said I'll have it if that is ok, Skip man said you will have exchange OUTSIDE of the yard as it is stealing! from the council ! if inside the yd went to the car and she said do you want the hoslock hose reel as well coz that was going in the skip also!!
I could not believe that people would buy something to do one job and skip it .

YEP went to tip yesterday, 2 mountain bikes in skip brand new still knobbles on tyresYears ago I was at the council tip just after Xmas and a chap bought in two portable TV's, two stereos, games consoles and other electronics gear. Turned out he'd bought his kids new for Xmas and the stuff he was chucking away was perfectly good and only 12 months old (previous Xmas's present !). I was talking to one of the tip workmen and he told me that even they couldn't salvage such items now it had been taken over by a private company as there was CCTV everywhere.
We have Recyke y’bike not far from us, and there are many more around the country. Bikes in the back of the scrappys' flatbeds is a crying shame too.YEP went to tip yesterday, 2 mountain bikes in skip brand new still knobbles on tyres
CRAZY
DRLs are daylight running lights similar to what the TRRL have been trying to get get bikes to wear for thirty years, unsuccessfully.
Some Citroen DS models of the 70s had headlamps which turned with steering, so probably just a copy of that old technology.
Wot, no dab radio!
Zeppelin on Radio2 yesterday and today on Radio6.I wouldn't listen to it if there was Even the DJs who aren't paedos talk ballcocks and play cr@p music, where's the entertainment in that?
The van has a CD player and the facility to plug in MP3 player and USB memory stick; load up with what you like and away you go. Voice commands as well: say 'Play Led Zeppelin' or 'Play Stairway to Heaven' and it does
Traffic announcements are sometimes useful but my satnav has live traffic updates anyway. May as well use the useful bits of technology, but radio... nah

Bluetooth is the way to go, My phone has all my music on it, can be used as a satnav with traffic, It reads my messages to me, turns the media to max and all ringtones to 0. Voice commands for playing music, finding places for the sat nav etc. Basically I get in my van and speak to my phone and drive.I wouldn't listen to it if there was Even the DJs who aren't paedos talk ballcocks and play cr@p music, where's the entertainment in that?

Beats most people I know. They get in the van and talk to themselves...Bluetooth is the way to go, My phone has all my music on it, can be used as a satnav with traffic, It reads my messages to me, turns the media to max and all ringtones to 0. I've acquired a new company van, does that count?
