Technically it was free, purchased a 3 axis DRO and scales from China and they sent me a 2 axis unit. Following a few messages and pictures they shipped a 3 axis unit and have still to tell me how to return the 2 axis unit. Been 2 weeks so I think it's now mine

My plan was to move the old Anilam readout off my mill, buy some scales and fit it to my lathe however someone mentioned that it may not be compatible with modern scales.
Either way one of them will be available.
Might be a while as been a bit spendy on vehicles recently so need to build up some funds

Ive hidden all keys to the garage very well. Stops the wife getting nosey.
One of my favourite things is how the garage door plipper doesn’t work unless you do it in a specific way at my house, and I have mastered this skill - but everyone else is bewildered and confused that it seemingly only works for me! A replacement is $80 which is considered too high. I’ve pretty much claimed the floor space

They can't do that quite as arbitrarily as you might think because legislation has been tightened right up on insurers for such practices. If there's a policy in force then the HAVE to supply 3rd party cover. They might try to wiggle out of paying for your own car or reduce the payment substantially but the legal minimum 3rd party cover will still be there if there's an active policy.
