Had a bit of a mixer disaster when I was putting the shed floor down when the mixer seized, but all better now as I've scrounged an electric one off Freecycle. No stand, but its a Belle like my old one so I'll use that. Its an old one so there's loads more metal in it, could be a bit of a scort to get it up on the stand...

I've dug the boxford headstock out of the scrap, and bought an xy cross slide. I'm thinking a frame from a bit of rsj, swivel base for the cross slide. Not sure how to do height adjustability or holding the tooling yet. Collet chuck sounds an expensive way, but I can't see much choice.I will take some snaps of the chuck/tooling fixture, its nothing fancy. I would have thought a collet chuck will do the job.
