Yeah Drummond B, from the serial number it was probably made in 1920.

@Mike Pinches I hope the top slide is in that box.

The top slide was still in the van when I took the photo. I think it is all complete, though a change wheel may be in the wrong location. I need to find exactly which ones I should have and the correct mounting for them.

I will start a thread when I start refurbishing it, but it won't be for a couple of months as I need to get the R1 ready for the next race meeting and finish building and sell a zx7r first

An Evolution Rage 4 saw from their shop on eBay. Listed as B grade and other than some minor sign of use on the blade it looks and cuts like new and all for £50 delivered (inc Ebay 10% off).

Had a few practice cuts using an old bit of 3mm thick angle iron and pretty impressed but does kick out a fair bit of swarth so will need a hood of some form making.

Dropping more stuff of today at a good local Charity Shop, again I was asked if some bits were of use to me.
I was pleased to receive the items and left £50 for them.



A pair of pliers, plus 4 brass drawer handles.




Spot welding gun, it has been used. It has come a few miles as well.



I wonder if the company is still trading?
I will google it later.



Hide face hammer, short shaft, but looks good.





Another big Die holder, only one die. Covered in crap. Looks old.

I have in the shed, one of the Kelarc sheet metal welders that you use off an arc welder with a diode in. I bought it late 80’s I suppose. Like the old joke, tried it once ....... I did succeed to get a passable weld on a body panel, but never managed again. They used to demonstrate them at the shows & cut a patch out of a bonnet & put the piece back in, so it was possible. The good thing was, I never paid for it, I bought it mail order direct from Kellers on a credit card. I was never billed for it, & ages after when I checked the handwritten slip had the number wrong.

Bit of robbing from the "New to me." Tilley lantern and a bit of fuel. Bit of coffee.

Yes. I know the mantles need a bit better fitting. But As I said in the past I am dealing with some good ones and some crap ones.



The far right one, the one today supplied the following items.
Decent No return valve spring.
A decent "On/Off" valve.
A Decent hood and burner.

I may rebuild the far right one, time will tell.

I acquired about 15 litres of proper creosote.

A friend used to keep chickens and got it from a farmer to stop lice living in the coops I believe. Not sure what I'll do with it but I couldn't let it go to the tip (Not that they'd have taken it anyway).

Picked up a couple of these in Lidl today, i already had a few, very handy for storing taps and dies and the like.
