Tried it today on a wheel nut [neighbour's car] which was set at 110Nm using a torque wrench. It failed, despite trying both fully charged batteries to loosen it, so I've asked for a return on this basis. My needs would exceed that figure - 120Nm is the tightening setting for the BMW.
Oh well, seemed like a good idea at the time.

A while ago.
A leblonde tool room gearhead engine lathe. Steady and taper turning.
Managed to uncover it to get a proper look. Cant wait to get this home.

Aye, I know - I've struggled with their work in the past.
But today's test was undoing a nut that had been slackened after my first failed effort, then set back to 110Nm again. Still nothing doing.....

Also acquired was this societe (SIP) genevoise rotary table. Couldn't pick it to put in the car. So up yard for now. I was raining heavy so couldn't get fresh pictures.
