An 11mm, 14mm and 17mm socket, yes I know that Spitfires are all AF but a rusty stubborn AF can be got off with the nearest equivalent metric socket hammered on

Then you need a vice to hold the socket while you hammer out the nut or bolt you've jammed in the metric socket :laughing:

Apparently, according to a notice I noticed the other week, months of testing have lead to a new style being chosen . . . although whether they go back to being back out on general use, I don't know . . .

99E Stanley knives were banned from my ex shop floor 20 years ago (carpet industry), replaced with the spring back style. That's why I have quite a few of the 99Es still (enough to last me for this life).
