Handmade brushes, now there's an expensive product!
The other half wanted a decent hairbrush for Christmas, so a bit of research found that one could spend £200 on a handmade example! I coughed at the £30 ones.
Imagine the cost of a handmade broom!

I have made an Aluminum insert that the handle is pressed into to make long lasting threads. I would give dimensions but they would be in Inferial.

Steel conduit with a rebar core. The forward momentum should act like a flywheel to push the largest dust particle without fail.

Try your local ironmongers. I just bought some from Screwfix, seem fine but maybe the same or similar to the Toolstation ones but not broken any yet.

Well popped to the farm supplies shop today , got a 1" dia handle £2.64 , and a clamp as they didn't have the screw thread type of handle .
No flex at all and should outlast me
I'm gonna give it a coat of decking oil that I've got spare

Bought a new T shaped spade handle too to replace a rotten one
