Could be a bargain, no seriously think about it, its a l5a with the l00 nose by the looks of it though not sure if it has the norton box as the photos are so crap, and its single phase already, without that paint job it'd be a lot more money and it looks like its got a couple of rusty chucks, well l00 backplates are 100 quid a pop min... If its not too rough under the paint whomever daubed it in that horrid paint job and scared all the normal buyers off might be doing someone a favour!
Id go look at it if i wanted a l5a and it was near enough for sure.

That reminds me of the last place I worked. The regional manager paid the young store man to come in at the weekend and give the place a fresh coat of paint. He didn't take any of the pictures off the wall in the office - he just painted around them.

I had a Harrison 140 a few years ago, ex school & hardly used, so one of the "technicians" had painted it for some reason, with cream paint no less. It was put on like artex, so thick it had locked the selector levers on top of the headstock. Truly they walk amongst us.
