I remember what teacher told us when I was in school:There's more than one way to skin a cat, but only one per cat......
I sat and watched a western woman in the Chinese buffet eating with a knife and fork the other night. She spent an age carefully following her childhood programmed instructions on how to eat properly, trying to scoop fried rice, noodles, fish etc. onto the back of her fork. I reckon she spent a couple of minutes or more of balancing and adjusting and shoving and trimming with her knife, to get the fork loaded, then carefully headed it towards her mouth…… then a stray noodle flopped in the direction of her chin….……I remember what teacher told us when I was in school:
"Now remember, children: knife in the right hand, kitten in the left facing you"
