just nip em up every week or 2 when you service your bike.

I’m certainly going to check them often from now on. I’ve done them up tighter now, but having come loose once leaves a bit of doubt in the mind. The original bolts that are fitted at the moment don’t actually exit the fitting even though they go the full length of it. If the problem continues, I’ll probably get some bolts that are a tad longer and put some nylocks on with a rubber washer to protect the aluminium.

No, any set of bits will fit all, countersunk normally take a size down.
