Tractor bonnet hinge modification

I have exactly the same issue with my Ford 4000 and loader but there is just enough spring in the bonnet to get it past. Not ideal but it does work so I'm following with interest.
I'm wondering if one of the fancy hinges used on kitchen cabinets would help you. The sort that would provide a vertical action before they rotate.

If I can find an assistant, Ile stick the loader on tomorrow and get some pictures, things are annoyingly taking longer than usual, as I have a poorly wing. I did manage to put an inner tube in one of the front tires just took 3 hours instead of 3/4 of an hour.

Undo the catches from both sides and then lift off the bonnet cover?

Only one side hinges opens, I think you have to unbolt the whole thing to get into o the other side.

Put it on pins with clips through and just lift up and off
