The sale of wet wood wont really affect most users, its for quantities over two cube. Most log users have enough savvy to air dry/season wet wood. Makes a lot more sense to use air/time to season a log than the insane amount of energy used in kiln drying.

But kiln drying is business, burning wood, to dry wood to burn. Thats my understanding due to the government payments with RHI or what ever its called.

Yep, most are burning hundreds of tons of wet/unseasoned wood in kilns to make dry wood, tiz the work of chair polishers at their finest

Not only that but I seem to burn twice as much kiln dried as the bloody stuff burns too fast! Need a good storm to stock up supplies for next year
