Berkhampstead. Yes good venue. Another in mk. Both of them together for a years membership with keyed anytime access is less than 60 notes a year. Cost you that for a day or two on an mx track.I'm watching this thread as I went to a trials track in Hemel Heampstead a while ago a got got all excited watching them.....
Be looking for a bike in spring. If you can get to mk I'd be happy to give you a good taster mate.Yes I remember now about the key access, good idea!
@eLuSiVeMiTe That's a very generous offer! Thanks.Be looking for a bike in spring. If you can get to mk I'd be happy to give you a good taster mate.
Long range tank and seat on a trials would be far better for the 6day as a beginner far more forgiving and far less likely to leave you broken in a heap ontop of a rock.Scottish six day trials are held here in fort william every year always great to watch concidering getting into it myself if i can get my motorcycle licence finished. I would say to you maybe to start with better of with an enduro bike as they have a seat and are therefore more comfortable to use on the road if you have a long way to go to a practice area. Trails bikes are baically stripped down enduros minus a few of the creature comforts and a good bit lighter. If you can manage to do it on an enduro then doing it on a trials bike will be a easy peasy. There are many brands of trials bikes but gas gas is by far and away the most common. Honda's 250 enduro seems like a nice bike.
Trials machines are much, much different to enduro machines. The likes of graham Jarvis etc can pilot an enduro bike like a trials bike but it takes skill few possessScottish six day trials are held here in fort william every year always great to watch concidering getting into it myself if i can get my motorcycle licence finished. Here.
Most still run Carbs. Few efi 2t about and the 4t obviously.Wow. That’s a great watch. Must have been quite an art getting the ports, exhaust and throttle matched to your style. I guess a laptop takes care of it nowadays.
I don't understand what the minder does, he's not gonna stop him failing or anything? I don't know a thing about it, I'm more familiar with street trials, like this;Here.
Your jumping up a steep rock and you don't quite make it. A minder grabbing your front wheel or handle bars could be the difference between a minor off or a damaged bike and damaged limbs.I don't understand what the minder does, he's not gonna stop him failing or anything? How about a 65kg bike with engine off.I don't understand what the minder does, he's not gonna stop him failing or anything? I don't know a thing about it, I'm more excited by street trials, like this;
Steve colley is a lovey bloke too, met him at the bike show, he stopped for a pic with mrs TBD and had a chat, ever the gent. He isn’t half paying for years of bouncing off things thoughHere.

Well worth the pennies.Iv got a bantam that I’d love to use for trials and a monty 219 cycle trials bike. Ironically mk is on my door step but never been to the trials site even though Iv passed it a million times!
