Just have to ask as i always doubt myself for some reason, but hey i am not always right.
I sent my van in withe new Turbo to be fitted and needed to old one as an exchange unit.
This turbo was taken off from my van, so the garage says, which i dont think kit as been. This is due to the rust on the gasket surfaces and condition of the turbine.
I dont like being lied to but also wonder why they are addament it is off the van.
So would folk say it was taken off a running van 2 days previous ?
I wonder if its ok to send back as an exchange unit unless the flange surface get a grinding also ?
Besides that they didnt fit the oil rerun pipe properly and its leaking so its gone back to be done again. Oh and connect the front indicators up as they didnt do that either when fitting the turbo.
