turning compressor off

I'm planning on putting my compressor in the shed connected to the garage. But then powered through a contactor which can be pulled in by a signal from the lighting circuit.

This was the compressor will only work with the lights on.

Mine has started kicking in if left on as there are a couple of wee leaks. It woke me up a while back and I couldn’t be bother to go and switch it off as by the time I get out there it’s shut down. This time it went on a long time so I had to go out, one of the airline had burst. My missus had run it over a few days earlier in MY truck and damaged it!
