If you are inflating lorry tyres you ought to use a clip on hose,
So you are able to stand back when inflating the tyres to their 100psi or so pressure.

Be a little cautious inflating bicycle tyres with a compressor, they do inflate rather quickly

I don’t I’m afraid, for bike tyres I just use a track pump, it’s quicker than getting the compressor out!!
The pcl might actually work on bike tyres, I’ve never tried it it just looks a bit big
if I get chance I’ll try it today and let you know.

Most bicycle tyres are the same as car tyre valves, Schrader Valves,
Though the Racing Style bikes use Presta valves I think

You only need a Presta to Schrader adaptor if you are inflating or checking pushbike tyres. I use a stirrup pump for my bike it came with all the adaptors included for airbed, footballs etc now conveniently hidden and forgotten where

Your post looks like you are just using this infrequently in which case I would suggest an alternative
I have a PCL inflator as suggested by @8ob and it is very good but there is hassle involved in running out an airline to boost a couple of tyres, especially bike tyres
I bought a Topeak Joeblow Sport pump which has a two headed fitting to do both Presta and Schrader. Easy to add air to standard size car tyres and bike tyres very easy plus you get a bit of a workout as well
Not recommended for truck or lorry tyres as I suspect you will give up long before you get enough air in

Thanks all - I’ll get a pic of my push bike valves to double check I’m getting the right adapter. I’ve gone ahead and purchased the PCL inflator - appreciate it might be a bit much for my occasional requirements but I need to justify the cost of buying my compressor somehow…
There's good reason why so many garage forecourts use the PCL Mk3-Mk4, they are super tough and work really well.
I've recently added one of these to each of mine, works like the normal push on ones but has a locking feature too.

I have a Mk4, great piece of kit.
Have you used the Twin Clip On connector much? I wasn't very impressed with mine.
Mine came with the one in your link, but it leaked like a sieve from day 1 and just wouldn't seal on the valve properly.
Sent the end back to PCL at their request who replaced it due to a "manufacturing defect".
Replacement still leaked but slightly less.
I bought their Single Clip On end (the pre facelift version) to try instead - that one works perfectly.
I've always had the push on type but I get the odd occasion where having a spare hand is useful, usefully when trying to seat a difficult tyre(must get a bead cheater) or when something is a bit awkward to reach. They aren't perfect and they do sometimes leak but the fact they also work as a push on means I'm no worse off than I was before. I think the clip probably acts on the threads so the position makes a difference and I've also found you need to have them pushed on pretty firmly before operating the clip.
I bought mine from the link above and it does make you wonder why the military would literally thousands of them sitting in storage. The link shows they have sold almost 2300 units.
