Vevor pipe bender ?

Hi all. i was just wondering what folk think of these pipe benders, cheap enough and do a `fair` job. I have one but can see a fault in them even after low use on the larger size tubes bent. I have an idea to make them better and wonder if folk have found the same problem.

Buy cheap, buy twice.

Can be either metric or imperial. Not both. Sides of formers must be a good fit or pipe will kink.

Is it marking the tube where its held?

Ive a Hilmor EL32. Works a treat!

I knkw there are better etc etc but it's these I am looking good into.

I don'know. I have quite a few Vevor bits here. Not Top Top tools, but they have done the job. Gave up buying stuff to last a lifetime when I aint got a lifetime left!

Same here. Not had any issues with owt, so far.

End of the day, you buy these tools knowing they may possibly need a bit of fettling, modifying or such. If one wants almost perfect, it costs a lot more.

Not used mine as yet, but the one area I would class as possibly needing slight alteration/fettling, after looking at it, would be how the pipe/tube is held, by the die. Looks like that'll likely cause a kink/dent, as is.

I was give one of the above, my only complaint is the radius is too large for my work, the alternative mandrel hand bender is around 6 times the price
