Very familiar tales, up above. Substitute "welder" or "cut50" for "winch" and we've been over this ground many time.
Sure, a Chinese import likely won't have the same build quality as known brands but if it works out of the box then you're halfway there.
For what it's worth, a truck forum I was on did a group buy / import of no-name Chinese copy winches and we bought around 20 if I recall correctly. All were absolutely fine and put in several years of good work.
Two additional hints:
1. From memory, I don't think anyone uprated batteries and nobody reported an issue (these were L200s)
2. Having a very strong and properly designed winch bumper / tray / frame is essential - don't cheap out on that part
It's more of a lottery but at half price, and from a reputable supplier (including Amazon), I'd suggest it was wort a punt.
