What Macro are you running,
When you rotate the switch either way does it only operate one side at a time ?
Doesn’t look to me like that will work if the switch is 3 position.
If, as said above, it needs the run contact maintained as well as the reverse contact then you would ideally need 2 contacts for it to work in reverse mode, 1 to go to the Rev contact and the other to go to run contact.
One thing, is there any mention of two wire and three wire control modes in the manual? The VFDs I have used have a Three wire control option that caters for momentary switches to directly interface with some existing control panels. If it has this and is set to it you need a different wiring approach.
If you have jog working with a momentary switch connect the output of that to the reverse connection hold the switch on and turn you main switch on (connect start) and see if direction of motor is reversed
Just checking the basics, it is a 3 phase motor you have connected to the VFD?
This is going round in circles. We've not really established anything other than you can't get it to run in reverse.
If you put 12v on the run then it runs, yes?
If you put 12v on the reverse only it doesn't run?
Have you actually tried putting the 12v on the run and reverse together as has been suggested?
