My Dad was a armourer in the RAF during the 50's .............National Service. Pictured below on one of the planes...but what is the plane?
I always thought it was the Meteor but I've searched the net but cannot find any pictures showing those intakes.

Yeah Dehaviland vampire recognised the air intake , and the fact it's so low to the ground !

An old friend of mine just shared this photo of his dad with me, postwar Matchless single. WW2 aircrew suit I think. Photo likely in Fife.

Granda Fraser my dads dad, served in the Gordon Highlanders in WW1 and RN in WW2 and continued on the trawlers out of Aberdeen harbour, and that's the St Clair leaving the harbour for Shetland1947

HMS BACCANTE submarine support vessel Med fleet in mid 1920s I think my Grand father was either seconded there or was on a sub it maintained by it
I think it is in Valletta grand harbor Malta
