They look ok to take apart. Fairly basic...but I will find out shortly.Yeah that seems to be the intention.. I've been putting off taking it apart to clean it up.

Yeah, nothing too complicated. I think I should put some stuff back together before I start another project. Besides, in the mean time you will have done yours and taken lots of pictures..They look ok to take apart. Fairly basic...but I will find out shortly.
I have to many projects on the go..but need this one done first...yer definitely lots of pictures as I strip it down...got a new tin of primer and some nice dark lister green. Not everyone's cup of tea but I like it.Yeah, nothing too complicated. I think I should put some stuff back together before I start another project. You are making me feel bad, we have one sitting outside ready to come into the workshop now i have the new doors fitted.Today I got my power saw outside my work area. For a good steam clean. Removing all the years of crud . All cleaned and covered in duck oil and ready for me to start the dismantle and repaint.
That's the trouble sometimes. Having to many things on the go...but just need to get this one stripped and painted while the weather is good....You are making me feel bad, we have one sitting outside ready to come into the workshop now i have the new doors fitted.
Was just going to give a blow down with the air line and oil it. To many other projects calling at the moment.
Problem is i have being saying the same thing about the outside of the house for about the last 5 years got to get some paint on this year and replace the gutters as well. Plus all the other workshop projects. That's the trouble sometimes. Having to many things on the go...but just need to get this one stripped and painted while the weather is good....
Yes. Kind of gets a bit to much sometimes. I just had to be in the right place at the right time with the items I have brought. Or it would of been spent doing other stuff.Problem is i have being saying the same thing about the outside of the house for about the last 5 years got to get some paint on this year and replace the gutters as well. Awesome. You will have to post some pictures when your finished...i managed to find the original lister paint code..I have one exactly the same, stripped down and about to start painting it in Reseda green

That's a good idea. As later on for a future project it will require some 22.5 degree cuts. From your pictures I see that you have adjustable jaws allowing you to cut angles. We had a similar one at work & once we had it set for cutting square we put a hand hacksaw cut across the fixed & swivel jaws & the same for 45 deg, that way you can set the cut angle without messing around with combination squares by just lining up the 2 hacksaw cuts.
Nice.. looks in good condition to....Wee pic of the one sitting at my dads place....
Wondering what/if the advantage of using these over a chop saw? Less heat and narrower blade I suppose...

You can clamp a few pieces together, set it to cut and walk away and do something else, when you come back it's all cut for you. Plus quieter and no sparks to worry about.Wee pic of the one sitting at my dads place....
