For how much they cost those Hercules things do look rather good actually. Hmmmmm tempting to just buy 4 or so of them to shut the misses up. The ones I was planning to build were going to extend a bit further out from the wall which I suppose will increase the load on the wall rather a lot. Some of the guitars are fairly deep though so too close to the wall won't work.

Got Dreadnoughts hanging on some without any issues. Behind the SG 4.75" Les Paul 4.45" Telecaster 4". The Dolbro has a good 1" free space behind it.

When you go looking for it, see if you can find the (1980s Jap-built) Fender Precision I had from new but sold to buy a motorcycle
It was black, with black machine heads, black chrome fittings etc. It had a black switch and when you pressed it a black light lit up on a black background... let's just say it was black

Harsh times, hopefully you'll feel like going back to it eventually. My mate just started another band after 5 years without picking up a guitar. He is just using a borrowed sqealy humbucker Squier strat for now. Under the circumstances sounds like getting away for a bit was better use of cash though.

I was searching for an Ibanez/Jackson/ESP/Washburn ish beast when I happened upon the BC Rich. Honestly couldn't believe the prices that 80's style metal axes/heads are commanding again now. The same Ibanez that my mate picked up for 300 quid 5-10 years ago is now back in the 700ish region. I was just lucky to find the one cursed/stolen high spec axe in the shop the other day.

The 80s Marshall 2204 I picked up for a couple of hundred quid around 15 years ago is now going for 800+ monies again. Madness how things go full circle.
