Another decorating thread
Made some progress stripping the old stuff off. There is an old paper/lining on top of the bare wall/plaster and that came away from the wall easier than the wall paper from the lining.
Should I strip it all back to the wall/should I use a lining paper before the wall paper? Or new paper just over it as, it is now?
We also had an old gas fire/flue. It was boarded up years ago, I note theres no vent holes, so could be full of moisture, Im tempted to check and try to do a better job - we used to have an electric heater covering it since.
