I have plans of tying my roll cage to the B pillars of my track car soon. I will be using 3mm plate so I thought I'd practice. The start didn't go very well. Everything was wrong and I turned out a mess.
Not good is it. I had a play around with settings and tried uphill and down hill.
So then I just started doing rows on top of rows. There was a fair few but this is some of the mess
I started to find it easier to go downhill, but kept practicing both.
I felt a bit of improvement here.
Once I got the settings a little better and after good while practising I got to the stage of this weld on the right hand side.
I was able to repeat this standard of weld 3 times of equal quality. Still a long way to go but I felt happier as I finished than when I started.
Thanks for more tips pleaae
