I suspect Arrow might well tell you the same as they told the previous owner?

Be surprised if it isn't nitrided EN40B if it's from Arrow precision. Anything more than .010" will be through the nitriding. If/when you get it ground, it might be a good idea to get it done by Jason Howes at South Kilworth, Jason used to work for Arrow precision, and was still doing work for them last time I was up there. If the fillet radius on (especially) the big ends isn't preserved when regrinding, you know exactly where the failure will occur.Hi it is a billet steel crank I think it's made by arrows, I'm all ears the guy I got it from said it's a easy fix he said just tig it
