welding an extra point into an air tank

then you plug a bit of rubber hose into the end of it held onto a fitting with a jubilee clip.... What happens if a hose comes off the fitting, you get a big hiss untill you fire the connector out of the quick release.

We've just had a new air ring main installed with 1½" hose drops fitted, when one blew off I had to wear ear defenders to get near it to shut it off - very BIG hiss!

I had an end come off, the 'far' end of the pipe away from the compressor and it whipped around like a snake until I manged to grab it. No damage fortunately but if one of the car's had been near it I could imagine a window getting smashed very easily!
