Cheaper than a pair of gloves. I seem to only wear out the left glove.....I like the look of that, just ordered one. I hate this place

I found a sack of work gloves on the road one time, great I thought until I got back & had a look, found they were all half pairs, all one hand. It must have been your bosses other handsI was working at a factory and to say the folks than run it were tight was an understatement, if someone wore out a glove and went for a replacement they would issue one glove to replace the worn one!
Indeed so. I can still "feel" the massive ouch from handling a piece of aluminium after my first try at TIG welding. The problem is aluminium never looks hot really. That coupled with thin gloves. Pain still lingers in my memory - and yet, strangely, no marks or blisters. Still hurt like hell though - never had that with normal gloves handling very hot bits of steelThat's an understatement.....
Is that why there is a huge surplus of left hand glovesI was working at a factory and to say the folks than run it were tight was an understatement, if someone wore out a glove and went for a replacement they would issue one glove to replace the worn one!
