i know arc welding is know for bein great when welding in the wind, but after making up some brakcets for my gazebo this morning i noticed quite a few times that it was so windy that i couldnt see any smoke.fumes coming off the weld at all...still a good covering of slag on them though and no visible porosity on the surface of the weld so im assuming they are ok and not really any strength needed to them anyway...
at what point would it be windy enough to affect an MMA weld?
