Agree with that! Once you have an idea of how bad it is then make the decision, but if you've kept it that long, why not go for it You'll get a ton of advice from the forum, and there are loads of videos on Y/Tube on restoring/fixing vehicles like yours and worse. Just have to sift through a lot of BS to get to them Personally, I'd go for it

Hi .. Thanks all for comments , firstly I’m no professional, But as I stated got thing for my old fourtrak rather than grave yard ... My panel skills will be tested I’m sure but fairly good with my hands no pen pusher !! ..

I do realise once I start it’s going to be a big job specially getting back to good metal , as most have stressed , arches are on there way not too bad ,chassis is solid just surface rust, but have given good inspection with hammer etc inside chassis seems good , floor good apart from cpl small places .

I haven’t started yet ,would like advice on making parts of the inner Sills etc ,or going down box section route seems good idea but not entirely sure where to weld it too yet ! , some say stay away from ready made sills ‍ Wether because of quality I have know idea , Back door will be a challenge will need advice there specially making curved corner , a replacement doors far few between, in colour I need anyhow .

My plan will be to start with smaller repairs go from there , perhaps build bit confidence, I have new ish reel of 0.8 mig wire , currently using Co2 or would I be best with mixed bottle ?? hopefully that will be Adequate for the job .

You're in no hurry, so take your time, think about it, make a plan of attack, post pics of progress and ask for advice here if not sure You'll get there eventually.
