Schrader/Rectus/Arco fittings,
The Schrader standard Twistlok is rated for a maximum pressure of 17 bar (or 250 psi) and a flow of 23.6 litres/second (or 50 cfm). The coupling half is also known as a check unit and the plug (or adaptor) profile is interchangeable with Rectus series 17 and PCL PF Range.
Ahh, I wondered why you were putting it in quotation marks.Edit: oh, and a 'pcl' is a type 19 - pcl is a manufacturer, not a standard

norgen do equivalent i believe http://cdn.norgren.com/pdf/en568.pdfThe top class fittings that we used at work, were made in the USA, called Dynaquip. Had a quarter turn lock/unlock incorporated into the female fitting.
Absolutely Bill I also use this type of swivel http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Silverlin...-Fitting-Universal-Joint-U-J-3D-/371264653683 on nut guns/ ratchets etc whips I strip them first and drill out the ports in them, to better flow the air through them. when getting anut gun in awkward places they are a must in my view. But the main reason for me is the improved size of the tool, it'll fit in places much better without the connector held rigidly onto it.
