Cheap as, no batteries. Not sure how well the solar side will charge during winter. I was thinking duct tape them to the 2" edge of the drive slab, fix with CT1 then remove the tape later. Would your neighbour object?
Cutting a groove in the drive and flush fitting a similar strip is an option. Cap it with cheap, clear silicon that you can periodically replace.
