Well this morning we've bought this for £140. 100 litre 14cfm Clarke Raider. Will be a few weeks before I have time to have a proper go but looking forward to it. Seems in good nick but cheap enough to sell on if we don't find enough use for it.

It appeared to be missing some of its cooling shrouds. I hope they, at least, were replaced before running it hard. 
I am wondering whether its approx 10cfm real output was adequate for his needs?

Only tried a few tools with it but it was fine with a small cutter and tyre inflator as you'd expect. We did buy a heavy duty extension cord as wasn't sure our old one was up to the job.
Hadn't realised about the cooling shrouds. I must look into that. The guy selling it had bought a shop premises and it was in the back so anything was profit I guess. His business was fixing lawnmowers and mobility scooters, so he said he would never use it. Lovely guy though. When he heard how far we'd driven he gave us £20 back for petrol money. Garden was full of scooters and ride on mowers in bits.

Had thought of buying one of the table top sand blasting cabinets but the used ones on ebay seem to go for quite a bit more than I'd expected. Cheapest I can find new is £130 for a Swtitzer one at OnBuy. Need to clear more garage space first though.
