Despite it being badged as a SIP, that doesn't look too bad for the money. What are your guys thoughts on this one in machine mart?

It's a new item and it's vertical, with 100l tank, being vertical I think I would prefer it as it would save a lot of space, I understand it will be noisy as it's a direct drive. But I think the spec looks good for the price and the plan is to make a ply box for it to sit in.
I also currently have a 9L direct drive compressor, was wondering if I could some how hook it up to this one and run the pumps together to create more air faster?
As mentioned by several others on here, for the money you can't beat one of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Wolf-Air-...121720&hash=item566fe67977:g:KbMAAOSwrlRZw3um on recommendation from the forum, I did...
Really is a great piece of kit, and on comparison with the price SIP from machine mart, the Wolf isn't that different. However the performance is, belt driven and 14 CFM (around 9 Free Air Delivery) it's gotta be the better buy all round.
...and yes you can link the compressors, and certainly a good idea.
had a look at these a little while back, i don't know much about compressors but feel like i need one
What capabilities does 9CFM free air give? Im interested in air tools, painting and poss sand blasting

http://www.powermate.com/air_compressors/buying_guide.php that is a reasonable guide, but not totally precise.
Here's another https://www.specialisedwelding.co.uk/manuals/Air_Compressor_Manuals/Air Tool Consumption Guide.pdf
Phil, if you currently own cordless electric tools, or don’t have a compressor then consider sticking with the cordless electric, they are much easier. Running a 3hp compressor to power an air drill for example, complete madness. I’ve sold/given away all my air tools and replaced them with cordless.
For spraying you’d be better off with a turbine hvlp system, warm dry air out of them and more portable/use less electric.
I’d like to be able to use air nibblers as currently I cut sheet metal with an angle grinder, I feel nibblers would be a lot better and electric nibblers cost loads.
Had a quick look at the Hvlp turbines and they seem to cost way more than a compressor. Would the multi capability of a compressor not be a better buy?
