I probably would take the route of EPDM but again like felt (although I dare say much more durable) it has to be adhered with a liquid adhesive. This would be problematic if the shed is dismantled and re assembled in the coming years.

Another vote for Firestone EPDM and rubbaseal as suppliers. If you've never used it before it's dead easy, dead smart looking if you get the associated trim pieces, and dead durable too! If you've ever faffed with traditional roof felt before you'll never use anything else!

I threw most of it in the fire, years back. I liked watching the plastic melt and burn, fascinating as a child
You could fit the trims using screws, as I did, then when you rebuild the shed just buy another sheet of rubber if you need it.
My oldest flat roof done with rubber is maybe 8 or 10 years old, its my bathroom and porch. I got sick of silly quotes from builders and reasons why they wouldn't guarantee felt for long and couldn't go for tiles due to the angle and in the end did it myself.
Some time later my usual builder came round for something else and comment "you got the roof done then?" so I told him what I'd done.
Now his van is plastered with Firestone stickers, he learned quickly enough.
Very easy to do a very good job DIY first time.
Using felt on a roof is like buying an ancient motorbike and sidecar when the family grows instead of a modern car just because its what Grandad says is best.
Or like sending a letter to a DIY magazine asking for MIG Welding advice, because that's what Grandad did before the internet and it always worked just fine for him.
Felt is outdated old technology.

Onduline will work fine, but you need to trim the edges. What I do is fold the edge over and screw a piece of wood like a weather board on. Or you buy the proper 90 degree edge trims.
Couple of examples here in the picture of the grey shed you can see the metal edge trims hidden from the side by a weather board. The other shed, is just folded down then the wood screwed over the folded edge. The piece along the front has also a piece on the top with the fixings through it. To make sure no wind gets under the edge as we are in quite an exposed location

I hope I'm wrong but I'm not sure if Onduline will work with this type of shed roof...

I think I might go with a non drip steel roof rather than Onduline. I have read a few reports about it sagging and decaying over time. A steel roof maybe a tad more expensive but the extra money warrants a longer lasting product.
Is it similar to swimming pool liner?

Why?
I've used it, as have people I know, I've never heard a single negative comment before.
No problem to say you dont like it but if you could state why, facts about problems or failures.
I think its great, fast, durable, cheap, I could go on. The only time I wouldnt use it is if the building should have tiles for aesthetic reasons.

Joints. Especially around up stands for skypods vents and the like are always a weak point. And fail long ahead of time Also when abutting up to the walls with flashing kits.
Too many so called pros do a bad job installing and thats probably the main cause of failure. Often very unsightly to look at. Bubbles forming from badly bonded sheets.
Personally I'd rather have a vg quality torch on and underlay or grp
Just had my garage roof redone. It lasted over 40 years and failed in one place only. No reason to doubt this one won't last longer
